Pure Heaven

When I saw the above photo, I was instantly in love! This photo is courtesy of Haute Bride’s trunk show in California.  I love how all of these pieces have a vintage look, and are hand crafted so meticulously. Of course these pieces are meant for bridal, but what I love most is that any girl can wear these pieces again. After seeing this photo, I was inspired to show you all a few more exquisite pieces that are just as similar…

Bridal Fashion Week

Bridal Fashion Week is here! I don’t, and usually won’t have too many blog postings about wedding gowns. I find there are far too many great ones to dedicate my postings to. However, since Bridal Fashion Week is upon us, I think it would only be appropriate to post a few photos from the various collections that have had me in awe over. Day 2 of Bridal Fashion Week is here, and here are a few gorgeous pieces.

Reem Acra's 2013 collection has been one of my favorites. The gowns are exquisite, and the fabrics are so heavenly they make me want to try every single one on. Reem Acra's 2013 line is for the confident bride who is willing to try something different.

Amsale has always been a favorite of mine! This collection is certainly about timeless elegance with a fashion forward sense. I am loving the few photos I have posted below, especially the gown with the lace cap sleeves!

Ines Di Santo's 2013 line is so versatile. From modern to classic, these gowns are presented with the finest fabrics from chantilly lace, silk organza, and silk taffeta.  Absolutely breathtaking! My favorite from this line would have to be the peplum inspired fashion forward gown I have posted below!

Romona Keveza's Collection screams elegance and sophistication. With its luxurious fabrics and intricate details, this line would make any bride happy!

Carolina Herrera's Spring 2013 collection has a more playful touch. The pieces are different from the "typical" bridal ensemble, incorporating jackets, buttons, and hats. How exquisite is the large hat below?

Draped with jewels

Kim Kardashian’s marriage might not have lasted, but the image of her ethnic headpiece certainly did. These types of wedding pieces have been around before Kim K’s wedding debut, but she really helped make this look famous, and she did a gorgeous job doing so. I have really had an interest in ethnic jewelry lately, from everyday wear to bridal pieces.  This look isn’t for every person, and I do believe that people who are Indian, Armenian, Albanian ( you get the picture) look best wearing these pieces on their wedding day. And for that, I am insanely jealous as I wish I could pull this gorgeous look off for my big day. But alas, I cannot. So here is to the people who can and are brave enough to try this look…

Romantic, whimsical beauty…

Chandeliers have always been a favorite of mine. Their soft glow and intricate crystals emit their graceful charm. Whether hanging outside at a reception, or dangling elegantly inside a venue, these ornate fixtures are a perfect wedding accessory. Below are a few photos of chandeliers I would love to have on my wedding day…
