Making a statement....

Statement necklaces have really made their way into the bridal scene in the last few years. With this being said, there are so many choices a bride can choose from. Maybe she wants a large, chunky pearl necklace that still makes her look timeless. Or a bride can take it to the next level with color. The blue necklace I have posted below is a great example of an accessory that is loud, but is still very elegant and chic. Whether it's a necklace, bracelet, or earrings, statement jewelry is a great addition to the standard bridal look. Below are a few great pieces for a bride that is looking to be bold....

Is bigger better?

There is nothing more exhilarating then the bride who decides to step out of the box; a woman who steers away from the typical wedding tiara. When I saw the bridal hat photographed below my jaw practically hit the floor! This piece is so exquisite! With illusion netting and silk flowers, this headband is light weight and easy to wear. This accessory allows the bride to be different, but she can still incorporate tradition by wearing a piece that also has a veil intact. This piece is so elegant and timeless, a bride couldn’t go wrong. Not only is the hat perfection, but the makeup is just as stunning, pulling this whole look together.

A little welcome note....

Hello all! J Since this is my first blog posting, I figured I’d start with a little welcome note telling you a bit about myself as well as my new blog.

Let me first start off by saying I am not the best writer. I have started this blog because I love bridal and I want to share my knowledge and ideas with others.

I have had the pleasure to work in bridal for a few years now, and what can I say… I absolutely love it. In my eyes, there is nothing better then dealing with women who are planning for the most important day of their lives. From helping a bride select THE dress to helping with the very last detail of her accessories, I have done it all. Being able to work with some of the best designer gowns with the most beautiful fabrics is a privilege. I’ve dealt with brides across the country and some internationally. I believe in pushing the limits when it comes to your wedding day. Incorporating color, mixing fabrics, and of course making a statement with jewels. I will be posting about all things wedding. Not just the dress and accessories, but cakes, venues and decorating ideas.

Hope you all will enjoy this blog as much as I enjoy posting!
